Condo hotel buildings are condos that provide several advantages:

When you're not using the condo Hotel , you have the option of turning your unit in the condo hotel to a rental program by a big name such as Hitlon, the W, Ritz-Carlton and others to manage it, market it, rent it for you.  In return, they share in the revenue from the unit.

Most of the  condo Hotel units are sold furnished to meet the management company standard where the units come furnished all the way to silverware.

Still, many hotel condo buyers have dual financial goals: to recoup most, if not all, of their mortgage and maintenance costs from rental income, and to see price appreciation whenever they choose to sell their units.

IRS and Taxes:  Most Condo-hotels cannot be considered as your principal residence and as a result there is no homestead tax exemption.  If you’re not familiar with Homestead, call me.
